Al'Adalah is a biannual peer-reviewed academic journal publishing original research articles on Islamic studies, especially Islamic thoughts, doctrines, and practices oriented toward moderation, egalitarianism, and humanity. The journal articles cover integrated topics on Islamic issues, including Islamic philosophy and theology, Islamic culture and socio-history, Islamic politics, Islamic law, Islamic economics, and Islamic education, engaging a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approach.  

Al'Adalah is a journal published by the Center for Research and Community Service (LP2M) State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Jember since April 8, 1998—now the Islamic University of Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq State Jember, Indonesia. This journal has been published in the printed version since 1998 based on Decree No.04.94/IV.3.05/ISSN/1998. Then, on May 29, 2019, this journal was registered with e-ISSN: 2684-8368 p-ISSN: 1410-7406 since volume 22 issue 1 (2019) was published online (open access) with a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) number by CrossRef.

Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global knowledge exchange.
